Our client in Zambezia/Nampula is looking for a Area Business Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of Renewable Energy (solar panel)  sector and a proven track record in the relevant field.

Responsibilities: 

• Hire, train, and maintain a team of at least 40 Customer Field Sales Executives in the area.
• Provide training to Field Sales Executives: on various aspects of the business such as sales, billing, product, technical, inventory and logistics related.
• Provide complete clarity to Field Service Executives regarding their daily tasks, sales and billing plans, routes, and goals; this includes ensuring that Field Service Executives have a pre-arranged sales route/area to sell, demonstrate and sell the Customer’s products, and have the confidence to present and resolve basic customer queries on the spot.

Requirements:

• Hold a degree or diploma in any academic background.
• Have at least two years of field sales experience in the same field. Preferably having worked in Micro-Finance, Banking or Telecom.
• They are passionate about working with rural, off-grid consumers and solving their problems.
• They are process-oriented and able to work independently and lead the field.
• Driven by the social mission of providing energy to consumers and employment to rural communities.
