Our client in Beira is looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to join their team. The ideal candidate should have a deep FMCG sector and a proven track record in the relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all maintenance tasks are executed using the appropriate safety standards and are compliant with policies, regulations and SOP’s.
• Ensure that Maintenance Department targets are being met such as minimum downtime and breakdowns.
• Supervise maintenance processes so that all works are completed as efficiently as possible and to the required quality standards.
• Review standard maintenance tasks and other relevant documents and to drive continuous improvement and efficiency.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualified in Engineering or Mechanical Trade qualification.
• Experience in FMCG/Food industry within a development in a maintenance / production environment.
• Have SIX SIGMA certification.
• Sound understanding of computerised maintenance management systems (SAP preferred)
• Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills with proven ability to coach and mentor staff with fluency both in Portuguese and English.
